My timer is not functioning properly

This guide may be helpful if you have a timer setup, but it is not working as intended. This may include not turning on, not turning off, or using the wrong timer.

Solution 1: Delete all timers (In-Range App Only)

Warning: This will delete all timers set on any device that controls your Oelo System.

  1. In the Oelo App locate the Settings Icon in the bottom right corner.
  2. Select "Delete All Timers"
  3. Create a new timer and verify that the system is working as intended.

Solution 2: Delete all timers individually

  1. In the Oelo App, locate the Timers Icon in the bottom right corner.
  2. Click the Trash Icon to delete each timer until none remain.
  3. Create a new timer and verify that the system is working as intended.

Solution 3: Reset your Home Network

  1. Unplug the power cord connected to your Homes WiFi Network.
  2. Plug back in after 30 seconds to ensure a proper reset.
  3. Create a new timer and verify that the system is working as intended.

Solution 4: Confirm you don't have two timers overriding each other

  1. If you have an Anywhere system, confirm you don't have a Calendar Timer and a Daily Timer set for the same time. (If, however, these two timers are set on the same day but at different times, each timer will turn on at the respective time it was set.)
  2. If you have an Evolution system, confirm you don't have multiple timers, ie. Daily, Day/Day(s) of Week, On Date(s) (repeats yearly) or On Date(s) (one time), set for the same time. If so, the most recently created timer will override the other timer. (If, however, these two timers are set on the same day but at different times, each timer will turn on at the respective time it was set.)
