Lots of raw fruits and vegetables.
Otherwise your body will be lacking in essential vitamins, minerals, fibers, and nutrients it needs for optimum health. If you experience fatigue, weight gain, illness, poor mood, or don't feel your best, it could be because of a lack of raw fruits and vegetables. Also, if you cook them most of nutrients are destroyed. They must be eaten raw.
Eat organic foods.
They may be more expensive, but you're sparing your body the pain of dealing with poisonous chemicals that can cause cancer, illness, and toxicity. Have you ever looked at what pesticides, hormones, and preservatives do to your cells under a microscope? If it had the same effect on your face you'd surely abstain. The truth is, it does do that to your face, it just takes decades before you notice. However, the effect on your cells is instantaneous.
Stay away from fried, processed, packaged and processed foods.
We know, we know! They taste soooo good. But you've been programmed to think that. A person who has never had a Big Mac and has lived on vegetables all their life would vomit if they ate one, guaranteed. You need to reprogram yourself to see these types of food for what they are, poison. They do the exact same thing to your cells, tissues, and organs that drinking small amounts of poison each day does. Once you truly realize this, a Lean Cuisine, Big Mac, or bag of Doritos filled with poisonous preservatives and empty calories suddenly doesn't sound so appetizing anymore.
Supplement.
Unfortunately because we mass produce our foods, don't rotate our crop soils, and have created a lifestyle that does not support getting the proper nutrients we need to be healthy, we must supplement. The most important supplement is a liquid multivitamin and mineral product. Unless you eat 10 servings of raw fruits and vegetables per day, which the National Institutes of Health is now recommending just to get your daily vitamins, you need to take vitamins.
We recommend the Essential Vitamins Plus Program manufactured by New Vision. Yes it's sort of expensive, but if you're willing to put a price on your well being and quality of life over that new pair of shoes you are missing an opportunity to improve your quality of life.
You also should be taking some extra anti-oxidants such a grape seed extract.

It's not what you eat. It's how it's prepared. If you're going to eat fruits and vegetables, you have to eat them raw. Cooking them kills 95% of the nutrients that are good for your body, so you might as well be eating flavored paper.
Meats should be cooked with sauces that don't have preservatives in them and never fried. When you look at an ingredients label on food packaging and you read names that you have never heard of such as "monosodium glutamate," "sodium ribo-dioxide hydro etc, etc, etc," "partially hydrogenated this or that," "flavorings," these are simply a list of poisons that have been added to give it more flavor, to help it have a longer shelf life, or give it a more colorful appearance. Of course this isn't for health reasons, it's to make the food manufactures' business more profitable, at the expense of your wellbeing. Avoid these foods. There is usually always an alternative right next to it in the supermarket that doesn't have those things. You may need to start shopping at an organic or whole foods store. Yes it may be a little more expensive, it may be a little further away, but once again, are you willing to put a price on your life?
